1) Out of bounds:
a) Beyond all railings and fences bounding the course, including
those enclosing woods and plantations, and the extension through
the posts to the left of the 9th green.
b) The drainage ditch adjacent to the woods at the 3rd hole.
c) The "Port Hole" at the 7th and 8th holes, except that part of
the entrance which is outside of a line between the two posts.
d) The drainage ditch alongside the 6th hole.
e) The practice area is out of bounds when playing the 5th and
14th holes.
2) Without Penalty:
a) A ball lying on the track to the right of the 9th fairway,
and forward of the white posts, may be lifted and dropped not
nearer the hole.
b) Fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions and relief
may be obtained, Rule 24-2. In addition, if such an obstruction
on or within two club lengths of the putting green of the hole
being played intervenes on the line of play between the ball and
the hole, the player may obtain relief, without penalty, as follows:
If the ball lies off the putting green, but not in a hazard, and
is within two club lengths of the intervening obstruction, it
may be lifted, cleaned and dropped at the nearest point to where
the ball lay which a) is not nearer the hole, b) avoids such
intervention, and c) is not a hazard or on a putting green.

c) Stones in bunkers, interfering with play may be removed, if
the ball moves in doing so, it shall be replaced.
d) Freshly sanded and seeded or otherwise repaired divot holes
are ground under repair and players must drop clear of them.
e) Preferred Lies. At any time that Winter Rules apply, a ball
lying on any closely mown area through the green may, without
penalty, be moved or may be lifted, cleaned and placed within
six inches of where it originally lay, but not nearer the hole.
After the ball has been moved or placed, it is in play.
f) Newly planted trees and staked trees are ground under repair.
g) When winter greens are in use, the fringes of the winter greens
at the 1st, 3rd, 6th, 7th and 8th holes are closely mown. Where
it is not possible to determine the extent of the losely mown area,
it is 3 club lengths in width.
The practice area is closely mown.
3) Integral Parts Of The Course:
The hutt at the 3rd green
The ball must be played as it lies, or be deemed unplayable.
4) Practice Ground:
a) The mown area between th 5th and th 9th fairways is a practice
ground.
b) Practice from the tees or the fairway or to the greens is not
permitted.
